Job summary

Reliant Rehabilitation seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver therapy in Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care environments. This part-time role offers benefits and up to 20-25 hours per week, focusing on screening, evaluation, plan development, and supervision of rehabilitation staff.

The position requires state licensure, strong communication skills, and ability to travel between facilities while complying with OBRA, policy, and patient rights protections.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Valid state SLP license.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide, direct, and oversee speech therapy to optimize communication, cognition, and swallowing.
• Screen and evaluate residents referred for therapy; develop treatment plans.
• Supervise rehab techs and assistants; ensure accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to enhance patient care and program development.
