Job summary

AnthroMed Education is partnering with a supportive school in the Ford Heights area to hire a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This flexible opportunity is ideal for an SLP looking to make a meaningful impact while maintaining a balanced schedule.

You’ll support a small caseload of students across two school buildings, providing therapy services, conducting evaluations, and collaborating with school staff to help students reach their communication goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License (IDFPR).
• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL).
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services to students in Pre-K through 8th grade.
• Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and write IEP goals.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with school and state requirements.
• Effectively manage a part-time caseload while maintaining strong communication and organization across two school sites.

Schedule: Part-Time | Onsite | 12-16 hours/week (approximately 2 days/week)
Hourly Rate: $48-$64/hour

What You’ll Do

• Provide speech-language therapy services to students in Pre-K through 8th grade

• Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and write IEP goals

• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers

• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with school and state requirements

• Effectively manage a part-time caseload while maintaining strong communication and organization across two school sites

Caseload Details

• Approximately 15-20 students

• Standard school-based caseload with a blend of therapy, evaluations, and collaboration

• Dedicated office space and access to a classroom for therapy sessions
