Responsibilities

• Implement drill and practice exercises designed by the teacher for groups or individuals.
• Keep accurate data on groups and students; method of data collection is designed by the teacher.
• Supervise and monitor student instructional activities in school and community settings.
• Provide personal maintenance care related to self-help and hygiene.
• Apply procedures to manage student behavior per district policies.
• Support a positive self-concept and a safe learning environment.
• Supervise students to maintain safety.
• Use classroom materials/technology appropriately.
• Assist students in regular classes.
• Prepare and adapt instructional materials under teacher direction.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student progress.
