Millennium Health is seeking a Part-Time Male Specimen Collector in John Day, Oregon. The role involves collecting urine and oral fluid specimens, preparing shipments, and acting as a liaison between clinics and our laboratory.

Ideal candidates have 6+ months in specimen collection or 1+ year in clinical settings, with strong customer service and basic tech skills. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. HIPAA/compliance training provided.

Qualificações

• Experience as a specimen collector or direct patient support is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and professionalism.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, security, and confidentiality requirements.
• Ability to use smartphone and computer proficiently.

Responsabilidades

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as intermediary between practice/clinic and laboratory.
• Record patient information, physician orders, and lab details.
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in portal.
• Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite.
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens when applicable.
