Job summary

Millennium Health is seeking a Part-Time Male Specimen Collector in Portland, OR. The role involves collecting urine or saliva specimens, processing and shipping, and interfacing between clinics and the laboratory.

Ideal candidates have 6+ months in specimen collection or 1+ year in medical settings, plus customer service experience. A valid driver’s license and reliable transport are required.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience as a specimen collector or 1+ year in medical field.
• 2+ years of customer service can substitute for medical experience.
• Must navigate a smartphone and computer proficiently.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Familiarity with medications/diagnostic codes is a plus.
• Adherence to HIPAA, HiTrust and confidentiality policies.
• Commitment to cybersecurity controls and data protection.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Physical duties: sit 60%, walk 20%, stand 20%, lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as intermediary between clinic and laboratory.
• Record patient information and lab details.
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient data.
• Order and maintain on-site collection supplies.
• Observe collections for Millennium Health specimens.
• Driving between facilities may be required.
