Job summary

Millennium Health is seeking a Part Time Male Specimen Collector in St. Helens, OR. The role involves collecting urine or saliva specimens, preparing shipments, and acting as liaison between clinics and the laboratory.

Ideal candidates will have 6+ months in specimen collection or 1+ year in a medical setting, plus strong customer service and digital skills. Position is part-time, 20 hours/week (Mon-Fri 1:00pm-5:00pm). Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience as a specimen collector or 1+ year in medical field
• 2+ years of customer service experience can substitute medical experience
• Ability to navigate smartphone and computer
• HIPAA, HiTrust, confidentiality and compliance awareness
• Physical ability for sitting, walking and lifting up to 20 lbs

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens
• Process and package collections for shipping
• Serve as intermediary between practice/clinic and laboratory
• Record patient information, physician orders and lab info
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in ordering portal
• Order and maintain collection supplies onsite
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens
• Drive between facilities if required
