Job summary

Millennium Health is seeking a Part Time Specimen Collector in Saint Paul, MN to provide patient-focused specimen collection and support functions. The role involves collecting urine or oral fluid specimens, processing packages for shipping, and acting as the liaison between clinics and the laboratory.

The ideal candidate has 6+ months in specimen collection or 1+ year in a medical setting, plus 2+ years of customer service.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience as a specimen collector or 1+ years in medical field supporting patients
• 2+ years of customer service experience can substitute medical experience
• Ability to navigate a smartphone and computer

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens
• Process and package collections for shipping
• Serve as an intermediary between the practice/clinic and the laboratory
• Record patient information, physician order details, and pertinent laboratory information
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in ordering portal
• Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens as applicable
• Driving from/to multiple facilities may be required
