Job summary

Millennium Health is seeking a Full Time Male Specimen Collector in St. Paul, MN. The role involves collecting urine and oral fluid specimens, processing and packaging for shipping, and serving as the liaison between clinics and the laboratory.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:30am–2:30pm (30 hours/week). Ideal candidates have 6+ months in specimen collection or 1+ year in medical settings, plus 2+ years of customer service.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of specimen collector experience or 1+ years in medical field preferred.
• 2+ years of customer service experience can substitute for medical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate a smartphone and computer.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• HIPAA, HiTrust, confidentiality and compliance policies must be followed.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Physical requirements: sitting 60%, walking 20%, standing 20%, lifting up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as intermediary between the practice / clinic and the laboratory.
• Record patient information, physician order details, and pertinent laboratory information.
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in ordering portal.
• Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite.
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens (when applicable).
• Driving from/to multiple facilities may be required.
