Job summary

Millennium Health is seeking a Full Time Male Specimen Collector in St. Paul, MN to collect urine and oral fluid specimens and coordinate with the lab.

You will process shipments, document patient and doctor details, and ensure accuracy in the ordering portal while maintaining strict privacy standards. Ideal candidates have 6+ months in specimen collection or 1+ year in medical support, with 2+ years of customer service as a possible substitute.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months as a specimen collector or 1+ year in medical field supporting patients.
• 2+ years of customer service can substitute for medical experience.
• Ability to navigate a smart phone and computer.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• HIPAA/HiTrust/compliance awareness and adherence.
• Physical ability for sitting, walking, standing, and lifting up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping to the lab.
• Serve as liaison between practice/clinic and the laboratory.
• Record patient information, physician orders, and lab details.
• Resolve specimen-related concerns with billing or patient data in the portal.
• Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite.
• Observe specimen collection for Millennium Health specimens as needed.
• Travel between multiple facilities may be required.
