Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience as a specimen collector or 1+ years in the medical field preferred.
• 2+ years of customer service experience can be considered instead of medical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate a smart phone and computer is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Familiarity with medical billing and medications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as the intermediary between the practice and laboratory.
• Record patient information and physician order details.
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information.
