Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Special Educator to support students in home and community settings across Dutchess County, NY. You will implement IEP-driven, multi-sensory lessons, collect data, and report progress to supervisors and school teams.

Roles include home, community, and school-based opportunities with fee-for-service compensation. Required NYS SWD certification (7-12 or all grades) and at least 1 year of relevant experience; bilingual a plus.

Qualifications

• NYS Certification required for SWD (7-12) or all grades.
• Experience with IEP goals and special education processes preferred.
• Bilingual skills considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with students in home and community settings to provide individualized lessons targeting IEP goals.
• Develop creative, multi-sensory lessons based on IEP goals.
• Collect data on IEP goals and report quarterly on progress.
• Maintain communication with lead supervisors and school teams.
• Attend CSE meetings and maintain attendance and electronic billing daily.
