Job summary

Family of Kidz seeks a Special Educator to deliver home and community-based instruction aligned with IEP goals in Dover, NY and surrounding Dutchess County. The role emphasizes data collection, progress reporting, and collaboration with school teams and families.

Candidates should hold NYS SWD Certification and demonstrate strong communication, organization, and flexibility in a part-time, fee-for-service environment. Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must hold NYS Certification SWD-7-12 (or equivalent)
• Experience with IEP goals and data collection preferred
• Bilingual a plus; strong communication and collaboration expected

Responsibilities

• Work with students in home and community settings to deliver individualized lessons aligned to IEP goals.
• Develop creative, multi-sensory lessons to engage learners with varying abilities.
• Collect data on IEP goals and report progress quarterly.
• Maintain communication with supervisors and school teams.
• Attend CSE meetings and ensure accurate daily attendance and billing.
