Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Special Educator to work with students in home and community settings, providing individualized lessons to meet IEP goals. This part-time or full-time role offers competitive compensation ranging from $50 to $70 per hour based on experience and certifications.

The ideal candidate will have a NYS Certification SWD and strong communication skills, with a passion for helping children with special needs. Join a dedicated team that values integrity and personal development while contributing to children's growth and independence.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience working with children and their families preferred.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with students in the home and community setting to provide individualized lessons targeting IEP goals.
• Develop multi-sensory lessons based on IEP goals to engage learners.
• Report quarterly on child’s progress with IEP goals.
• Maintain accurate attendance and submit electronic billing daily.
