Qualifications

• Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance is required.
• Maturity and patience to support students academically and emotionally.
• Able to adapt to changes and manage competing student demands.
• Willingness to assist in restraining a student if/when necessary for safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with technology and computer-based learning programs.
• Support teacher with instructional activities, small-group work, and one-on-one student support.
• Assist in completing assignments, reinforcing lessons and accommodations per IEPs/504 plans.
• Supervise students during transitions, lunch, and breaks.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators and support staff to meet student needs.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student records.
