Job summary

ACCEL Schools LLC in Nogales, AZ is seeking a part-time Instructional Paraprofessional to assist teachers and support students with special needs in a classroom setting.

You will help students with technology, reinforce lessons, supervise activities, and maintain a safe, inclusive environment while observing confidentiality and following school policies.

This role requires fingerprint clearance and reliability to support daily instructional goals.

Qualifications

• Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card required.
• Maturity and patience required to support students academically and emotionally.
• Identify and refer situations to the Principal as needed.
• Maintain accuracy and thoroughness in work and documentation.
• Adapt to changing schedules and competing student demands.
• Be consistently at work and on time; follow instructions and feedback.
• Lifts up to 50 pounds and can respond quickly to student needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with technology and computer-based learning programs as directed.
• Support teachers with instructional activities, small-group work, and one-on-one student support.
• Assist students with assignments and reinforce lessons.
• Supervise students during transitions, lunch, and breaks as assigned.
• Collect academic and behavioral data as requested by teachers or administrators.
