Job summary

Accel-Schools in Nogales, AZ is seeking an Instructional Paraprofessional to support teachers and students in a part-time in-office role (~30 hours per week). Qualifications

• Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card required.
• Ability to support students academically and emotionally.
• Ability to identify and refer situations to the Principal.
• Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and monitor own work to ensure quality.
• Ability to adapt to changes, manage competing student demands and respond to changes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and restrain a student if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with technology and computer-based learning programs.
• Support teachers with lessons, assessments, and small-group work.
• Provide one-on-one and small-group instructional support.
• Collect academic and behavioral data as requested.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators and support staff.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student records.
