Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Confer with teacher and assist in lesson preparation; directly instruct students and record grades.
• Monitor and supervise students; tutor one-to-one or in small groups; track student progress.
• Prepare classroom materials and maintain filing systems; update bulletin boards with curriculum-related displays.
• Orient substitute teachers to curriculum and materials; arrange parent-teacher conferences.
• Supervise students in Resource Room or classrooms; promote safe, orderly behavior and assist with emergencies.
