Job summary

Eugene School District 4J is seeking a part-time Instructional Assistant to support students with developmental or other learning disabilities on a 192-day schedule. The role runs 8:20 a.m.

to 1:20 p.m., Monday through Friday, 0.625 FTE, with duties including lesson prep, grading assistance, and behavior support under the supervision of a teacher. The position requires HQ documentation per ORS 581-037-0006, transcripts or degree, and may include fingerprint clearance upon offer.

Qualifications

• Official transcripts showing 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits.
• Associates or higher degree (attach diploma).
• Meeting a rigorous standard of testing or assessment for reading, writing and mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing educational and behavioral programs for students with disabilities.
• Perform clerical tasks and monitor student progress; record grades.
• Prepare classroom materials and update displays.
• Supervise students and manage behavior.
• Coordinate with teachers for conferences and curriculum alignment.
• Maintain attendance and complete related duties.
