Job summary

Prosegur is hiring a Part-Time SOC Operator to monitor access control, video surveillance, and alarms, and to respond to incidents across sites in real time.

You will triage alerts, document actions, and coordinate with security teams in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment. Strong customer service and call center experience are valued, with opportunities for professional growth within a leading security provider.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Must have reliable transportation
• 2 years of experience in the security industry
• Minimum 1 year experience in a call center or similar
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience required
• Experience in a security operations center, dispatch, or similar security-related role preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn software such as Genetec/Lenel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a 24/7 operational setting
• Ability to think clearly during crisis or high stress periods
• Flexibility for potential schedule adjustments

Responsibilities

• Monitor access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems to provide security service
• Respond to emergencies and dispatch appropriate services
• Investigate incidents and alarms and escalate as needed
• Monitor security alerts and events in security software
• Analyze and triage security alerts by severity and impact
• Take action to mitigate incidents via remote monitoring
• Document incident response timelines and actions
• Operate access control via CCTV and Badging
• Monitor site activities via CCTV systems
• Be vigilant for safety and security threats
• Implement emergency or security action plans as required
• Deter criminal activity and safety violations
