Job summary

Security Industry Specialists, Inc. is seeking a dedicated SOC Operator to monitor and analyze security events across corporate locations worldwide. You will respond to alarms, coordinate with emergency services, and distribute advisories to mitigate risk.

The role requires a proactive approach and strong customer service orientation. The ideal candidate has at least an associate degree or 2+ years in security, with proficiency in PC and iOS, CCTV, access control, and alarm monitoring systems.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or two plus years work experience in military, law enforcement, government, or corporate security.
• Proficiency in PC and iOS hardware and software including word processing, data analysis, presentation, and mapping programs.
• General knowledge of security systems including alarm monitoring, electronic access control, and CCTV.
• Complete and maintain state guard certification as prescribed by presiding state law, and any client required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor a wide range of security issues globally and report trends.
• Mitigate risk and inform field personnel of operational concerns in advance.
• Investigate alarms and respond by sending patrols or alerting Emergency Services as needed.
• Coordinate corporate response by distributing advisories and other communications.
• Follow procedures for managing issues from local incidents to global crises.
• Perform other related duties as required.
