Job summary

Del Mar College is seeking a Part-Time Lab Assistant (Pool) to support the Nurse Education department. The role involves setting up and breaking down skills labs, stocking supplies, and maintaining lab equipment and manikins.

You will help with inventory control and ensure clean, ready-to-use lab spaces for student use. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 3–6 months related experience; associate’s degree and 1 year related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalency.
• 3–6 months related experience.
• Associate’s degree (preferred).
• 1 year related experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and setup of skills labs equipment and space.
• Assist with inventory/stocking and cleanliness of lab areas.
• Support with lab and simulation setup and breakdown.
• Maintain lab manikins, beds, tables, and linens.
