Job summary

Del Mar College Cosmetology Lab is seeking to maintain a pool of qualified part-time instructors and staff to support the Cosmetology Program. The role involves assisting faculty with teaching resources, guiding students in safe operation of tools, and maintaining student records.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years work experience in cosmetology.
• Texas CSME Operator license is required.
• Associate’s degree in Cosmetology or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist faculty in utilizing resources, materials, and educational technology to support teaching and learning.
• Assist students in the proper and safe operation of tools and equipment.
• Assist faculty in maintaining student records / forms.
• Monitor Cosmetology laboratory when students are completing laboratory hours and services.
