Job summary

Del Mar College Center for Early Learning in Corpus Christi, TX, seeks candidates to join the CHILD DEVELOPMENT LAB ASSISTANT POOL. This is a part-time, non-exempt position designed to support the lab and child care center operations.

Responsibilities include assisting with front desk duties, monitoring student and parent flow, and supporting early childhood observations. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications and provide transcripts and certifications as required.

Qualifications

• Twelve (12) college credit hours in Child Development or Early Education.
• Six (6) months experience in a licensed early childhood program (0-5 years).
• Current Pediatric First Aid and CPR Certification (documentation required before first day).
• Negative TB Test (documentation required before first day).

Responsibilities

• Monitor front desk activities to assist students and parents entering/exiting the child care center.
• Assist and/or guide students enrolled in Child Development courses requiring early childhood classroom observations.
• Assist with front desk clerical responsibilities as needed.
