Job summary

International Executive Service Corps is seeking a full-time Sign Language Interpreter to provide high-quality ASL interpretation via video relay, video remote interpreting, and onsite at client locations as needed.

The role requires fluent ASL and spoken English, with adherence to the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct and the ability to travel as required. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package and a guaranteed minimum weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English
• Able to provide accurate interpretation
• Good understanding of Deaf culture
• Adherence to NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct
• Three to five years of interpreting experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality video relay service, video remote interpreting, and onsite interpreting
• Support and model the company's mission and values
• Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism
• Maintain punctuality and preparedness for shifts and accurate record-keeping
• Adhere to FCC regulations and company policies
• Adapt quickly to new technologies and multi-task between interpreting and video platforms
• Participate in training for professional development
• Meet performance expectations with minimal supervision
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Travel as needed with access to a vehicle and valid license
