Job summary

International Executive Service Corps is seeking a Part-Time Sign Language Interpreter to provide high-quality American Sign Language interpreting through video in a call center and on-site at client locations as needed.

You must be fluent in ASL and spoken English, adhere to the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct, and complete required training. The position offers flexible scheduling and access to PT24 benefits.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English language skills.
• Able to provide accurate interpretation.
• Understanding of Deaf culture.
• Adherence to NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Three to five years of interpreting experience (preferred).
• State licensure or state-required credentials.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model the company’s mission and values.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a respectful and professional attitude with customers and colleagues.
• Exhibit professional behavior, including punctuality and preparedness for shifts, for interactions with colleagues and supervisors and for record keeping.
• Adhere to FCC regulations and company policies.
