Job summary

ZP Better Together, LLC is seeking a part-time Sign Language Interpreter to provide high-quality ASL interpretation via video and on-site as needed. The role requires fluency in ASL and English, strict adherence to professional conduct, and the ability to travel for assignments while supporting clients in a fast-paced environment.

The position includes a part-time benefits package and requires successful completion of the company’s interpreter skills assessment and a 40-hour New Hire Training.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English required.
• Understanding of Deaf culture and NAD-RID Code of Conduct.
• Three to five years of interpreting experience preferred.
• State licensure or state-required credentials as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting.
• Deliver high quality interpretation with professional conduct.
• Offer exceptional customer service with a respectful attitude.
• Maintain punctuality, preparedness, and accurate record keeping.
