Job summary

ZP Better Together, LLC is seeking qualified sign language interpreters to provide high quality video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting for diverse clients. Interpreters work in a call center and at customer locations as needed, with a focus on accurate interpretation and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English language skills.
• Provide accurate interpretation.
• Understanding of Deaf culture.
• Adherence to NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Three to five years of interpreting experience (preferred).
• State licensure or state-required credentials where applicable.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model the company’s mission and values.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a respectful and professional attitude.
• Maintain punctuality and accurate record keeping.
• Adhere to FCC regulations and company policies.
• Adapt quickly to new technologies and multi-task interpreting tasks.
• Travel to customer locations as required with a valid driver's license and vehicle.
