Job summary

Linden Ponds by Erickson Senior Living in Hingham, MA, seeks a compassionate part-time Driver for Fridays and Saturdays 3:00pm–9:30pm. You will transport residents, staff, and visitors in on-site, non-CDL vehicles with ramps and lifts, assisting riders and maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness.

Requirements include a valid state driver’s license, a DOT certificate, at least 3 years of verifiable driving, and being 21 or older.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of verifiable driving experience.
• Valid state driver’s license maintained as a condition of employment.
• DOT Physical/Medical Examiner’s Certificate before starting.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to operate vehicles with wheelchair ramps and lifts, and pass a road test.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents, staff, and visitors on scheduled and unscheduled appointments.
• Operate non-CDL passenger buses, vans, and sedans with wheelchair ramps and lifts.
• Assist passengers with boarding and off-boarding from the vehicle.
• Prepare vehicles for usage, including pre/post-trip inspections and refueling.
• Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles.
• Log and track vehicle usage.
