Job summary

Burlington Stores in Coral Springs, FL is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to help create a secure shopping environment while delivering excellent customer service. You will monitor entrances, engage with customers, and report theft incidents to the Manager on Duty to support store safety and loss-prevention goals.

The role requires standing for long periods, maintaining confidentiality, and working a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and monitor store environment.
• Excellent communication with customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional appearance and greet every customer entering or exiting the store.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.
• Provide support in shortages reduction programs and train associates on processes.
