Job summary

MINISO USA is seeking a Shift Leader to assist the Store Manager with daily operations, training associates, and delivering exceptional customer service in Reno. This role drives KPI achievement, supports cash handling, merchandising, opening/closing, and shipment processing while promoting the store's membership program to foster loyalty.

The Shift Leader will lead by example, develop sales staff, maintain store standards, handle transactions at the POS, and help manage loss prevention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 1+ years of experience as a keyholder, supervisor, or shift leader in retail.
• Basic knowledge of retail operations and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to drive sales, meet store KPI goals, and exceed customer expectations.
• Train and develop sales associates to ensure product knowledge and customer engagement on the sales floor & at the register.
• Support daily operations, including replenishment, fronting, store maintenance, cash handling, and merchandising.
• Maintain store appearance, ensure proper stock levels, and implement visual merchandising updates.
• Open and close the store, ensuring the store is recovered and clean and in compliance with safety and operational procedures.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
• Support Loss Prevention efforts and ensure adherence to all company policies designed to prevent loss.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.
• Participate in store promotions and sales events to support overall business objectives.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of retail operations and POS systems.
• Ability to travel between store locations as needed.
