Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; plus two years' experience providing programs.
• Preferred: customer service expertise.
• Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design programming, services, activities and events for the department.
• Assist in implementing programming; recruit participants for classes and events.
• Provide customer service to clients and the public; enroll clients for programs.
• Coordinate programming with community groups, venues and speakers.
• Lead monthly recreational and social activities and organize space/transportation.
• Support public relations; create flyers, calendars and newsletters.
• Provide clerical support: reports, calendars, minutes, inventory.
