Job summary

Henry County Government seeks a Health & Wellness Program Manager for the Senior Services Department to develop, implement, and teach health, fitness, and nutrition programs for senior participants. The role coordinates daily activities, schedules classes, and ensures safe, properly maintained fitness spaces.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, budgeting for supplies, building partnerships with community groups, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years of experience performing general office duties; two (2) years working with the public (senior population preferred); one (1) year experience planning activities/events; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, plans, organizes, and implements Health and Wellness activities, classes, and special events for senior participants.
• Teaches various activities and classes; provides guidance to senior participants; coordinates group activities with staff and schedules activities and educational programs.
• Supervises, trains, evaluates, and schedules staff and instructors; coordinates classes and partnerships with other agencies; assists with budget preparations for fitness areas.
