Job summary

Henry County GA seeks a Health & Wellness Program Manager to lead the Senior Services Department's health, fitness, and nutrition initiatives. You will develop and teach classes, supervise staff, and coordinate daily Senior Center activities, ensuring safety and engagement for senior participants.

You will build partnerships, manage budgets, handle documentation, and align programs with regulations while working with other departments to maximize impact for the community.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Three (3) years of general office duties experience.
• Two (2) years of public interaction experience; senior population preferred.
• One (1) year of specialized activities for senior adults or disabled individuals.
• One (1) year planning activities and events; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, plans, organizes, and implements Health and Wellness activities, classes, and events for seniors.
• Teaches activities and coordinates group activities with staff; ensures safe fitness areas.
• Supervises staff and instructors; assists with scheduling and budget preparations.
• Builds partnerships with departments, businesses, and community groups; ensures regulatory compliance.
• Manages documentation, data entry, reports, and records for department operations.
