Job summary

City of Concord Parks & Recreation Department seeks a Senior Citizen Coordinator to support planning and running our senior programs, including setup and supervision of the drop-in Senior Program up to 3–4 days per week.

The role requires organizing surveys, compiling results in Excel/Word, and ensuring timely completion of paperwork while maintaining positive public relations for the department and the City.

Qualifications

• Experience working with senior citizens is preferred.
• Ability to complete forms and reports accurately.
• Willingness to lift items up to 25 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and running senior programs.
• Set up and supervise drop-in senior program 3–4 days a week.
• Collect program surveys and prepare results in Word/Excel.
• Maintain required paperwork such as time sheets and contracts.
• Follow department rules and ensure safety and positive relations.
