Job summary

Monarch Communities is seeking a Cook to join our team serving senior living residents, families, and guests. You will study recipes, set up menus, and prepare high-quality dishes under the Director of Culinary Services.

You should be familiar with sanitation regulations, maintain accurate records, receive and rotate inventory, and ensure regulatory compliance. This role offers part-time shifts, including every other weekend, with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• ServSafe certification required or able to obtain.
• One year of job-related experience including food preparation, full-line menu items and special diets.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve quality meals.
• Meet dietary needs and prepare texture modified foods as directed.
• Maintain HACCP, labeling and storage compliance; keep accurate records.
• Monitor food preparation, storage and handling per regulations.
• Maintain temperature logs for hot and cold foods, refrigerators and freezers.
