Job summary

Monarch Communities in Beverly, MA is seeking a Cook for a Regular Part Time position (less than 30 hours/week, minimum 22.5). You will prepare and serve meals, maintain sanitation, manage inventory, and keep accurate records in compliance with regulations.

The role requires ServSafe certification, or ability to obtain one, and at least one year of related food-prep experience; a high school diploma or GED is accepted. This employer offers flexible schedules and on-site work.

Qualifications

• Maintains ServSafe certification or able to obtain ServSafe certification.
• One year job related experience including food preparation, full-line menu items and special diets.
• High school diploma or GED accepted.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serving quality meals
• Meet special dietary needs and prepare texture modified foods as directed
• Ensure compliance with all record keeping, food safety and risk management requirements
• Monitor food preparation, storage and handling to ensure HACCP compliance
• Maintain accurate hot and cold food, refrigerator, and freezer temperature logs
• Participates in and attends all in-service training as scheduled
• Ensures compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations
• Other duties as assigned
