Monarch Communities is seeking a part-time Cook to prepare meals for our senior living residents, families, and guests. You will study recipes, set up menus, and ensure quality dishes while complying with sanitation regulations.

The role reports to the Director of Culinary Services and includes weekend shifts on a bi-weekly basis. Responsibilities include handling dietary restrictions, maintaining records, and inventory control.

Formación

• Must have ServSafe certification or be able to obtain it.
• Minimum one year related food preparation experience.
• High school diploma or GED accepted.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with good judgment.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and serve quality meals.
• Meet special dietary needs and texture-modified foods.
• Maintain record keeping, food safety and risk management.
• Monitor food preparation, storage and handling per HACCP and labeling protocols.
• Maintain temperature logs for hot and cold foods and refrigeration.
