Job summary

LCB Senior Living, LLC in The Residence at Paine Estate is seeking a part-time cook to provide high-quality dining experiences for residents. You will work closely with the Culinary Services Director and may supervise culinary staff, following established recipes and menus to promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.

The ideal candidate has Serve Safe certification, a high school diploma or GED, and 1–3 years of cook experience in a hospitality or healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to build positive relationships with residents and staff.
• Strong customer service orientation and multitasking ability.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and production guides.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices.
• Experience in a hospitality or healthcare dining setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and execution of meals according to recipes and menus.
• Supervise culinary staff under direction of Culinary Services Director.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and storage areas.
• Assist with opening/closing of the kitchen and daily prep.
• Prepare snacks/beverages for residents and support special events or banquets.
• Document temperatures and ensure proper food storage and receipt of supplies.
