Branch County Commission On Aging is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to perform light maintenance and janitorial duties at the Burnside Center. The role includes room setup, grounds care, and basic vehicle maintenance, with a 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. shift, Monday through Thursday.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work with seniors. Background checks will be required, and the position is non-exempt.

Responsabilidades

• Provide on-site light maintenance and janitorial work.
• Set up rooms for events (moving tables and chairs).
• Perform outdoor/grounds work (snow shoveling, trimming, cleaning).
• Maintain vehicles (fueling, washing, basic maintenance).
• Follow maintenance plans and report needs to management.
