Job summary

Point Pleasant Retirement Community is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to support building and grounds upkeep, handling electrical, plumbing, and general repairs to help provide a safe, comfortable living environment for residents.

You may drive a van as needed, respond to emergencies, and work flexible hours. The role offers competitive benefits and a caring, family-like team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years in maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, electrical or HVAC work.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds.
• Must be in good health and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and upkeep of building, equipment, and grounds.
• Perform exterior/interior maintenance (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, etc.).
• Respond to service requests from residents and staff.
• Maintain records including equipment serial numbers.
• Assist with apartment turnover duties.
• Work as part of a collaborative team and follow safety procedures.
