Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Screening Procedure Specialist in Columbus, OH. You will screen visitors, monitor access points, provide customer service, and help maintain a welcoming, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• A valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Screen individuals entering designated areas using established access-control procedures and approved screening equipment.
• Monitor entry points, verify authorization when required, and report suspicious activity, prohibited items, and/or access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the surrounding perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
