Allied Universal in Columbus, OH is seeking a Part Time Security Officer specializing in document screening. You will help create a welcoming, controlled environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points and upholding client site policies while delivering courteous service.

This position offers flexibility, pay of $19.75 per hour, and opportunities to learn screening procedures, emergency response, and strong teamwork with a professional security team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; site conditions vary by client.
