You will monitor access points, screen visitors and belongings, and communicate clearly with students, staff, and guests while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role emphasizes a flexible schedule, with part-time hours and a pay rate of 19.75 USD per hour.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors and guests.
• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Screen individuals and belongings entering designated locations using approved screening methods.
• Verify access credentials and direct individuals to entrances or resources.
• Respond to incidents calmly and report concerns to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals and belongings entering designated locations in accordance with site procedures, using approved screening equipment and methods.
• Verify authorized access credentials and direct individuals to appropriate entrances, check-in areas, or campus resources.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or equipment concerns to site leadership.
