Job summary

Allied Universal® in Columbus, OH is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Screening Compliance to protect clients across industries. The role offers flexible scheduling via our Claim a Shift platform and emphasizes customer service and security procedures.

You will screen entrants, operate screening equipment, and respond to incidents, following site policies. Minimum requirements include 1 year security experience, high school diploma, background check, and a valid driver's license for driving

Qualifications

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigations will be conducted per laws.
Drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies, and assist with emergencies.
Screen individuals entering the location per access-control procedures, verify IDs, and direct visitors.
Operate screening equipment and inspect bags or personal items according to procedures.
Respond to incidents calmly and report outcomes to appropriate personnel.
Document access concerns, prohibited items, unusual activity, and security incidents per site procedures.
