Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in De Soto, KS. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents to maintain a safe environment for employees and visitors.

This role offers flexible scheduling through our Claim a Shift platform, with duties including reporting and coordination with site leadership. Applicants must meet minimum security experience and program requirements.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and security protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, building entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials and report irregularities or unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events following emergency procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports and communicate with leadership and site contacts.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, building entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and facility conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications, and coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as needed.
