Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Unarmed Security Officer in De Soto, KS to monitor and protect a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will provide customer service, deter incidents, and maintain visible presence while following site procedures.

Responsibilities include patrolling areas, monitoring access points, reporting incidents, and completing logs. Minimum requirements: 1 year security experience, HS diploma, and background check.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by policy and law.
• Background histories evaluated per applicable laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local regulations.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report concerns.
• Respond to incidents and alarms following procedures; notify leadership or emergency services.
• Complete activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation.
