Job summary

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and/or service providers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a shelter location.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, respectful, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior common areas, entrances, exits, and the surrounding property to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain awareness of visitor and resident movement.
• Document incidents, patrols, and unusual activity in clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
