Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and the public while following site-specific security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and security concerns calmly and according to emergency protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of port facilities and surroundings to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document activities.
• Communicate hazards and policy violations to site contacts and supervision.
