Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Gate Checkpoint in Baltimore, MD. You will serve and safeguard clients at a government port location, perform unarmed patrols, and maintain a welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Background investigation and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors and the public at a government port location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations following emergency protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of port facilities and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify credentials.
• Communicate hazards and breaches to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
