Allied Universal in Suffolk, VA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) to protect clients across government and transportation locations. The role involves patrolling facilities, monitoring access, and maintaining a welcoming environment while delivering excellent customer service.

This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and offers a flexible weekend schedule with Saturday and Sunday shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted.
• A drug screen is required.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and the public by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access and verify visitor authorization; report suspicious persons, vehicles, or activities.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site procedures; notify emergency services or supervisors as required.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols and events.
